Matador Red

 This model features open doors, hood, trunk and operating steering. It features a detailed interior and engine compartment.

Vinny Comment: This is an unusual version of Danbury Mint's 53 Buick Skylark.

 It is painted in Matador Red ( like the limited edition 5,000) but unlike the 50th Anniversary edition it doesn't have a  continental kit, convertible top or removable boot.

I've never had one before, I suspect it's one of Danbury later releases ( it's in the newer printed box). Couldn't find on ebay

 In any case, if you like Matador Red but didn't like the continental kit, this is the Skylark for you!
