While Dale Earnhardt is no stranger to Daytona, it must have been a big adjustment to brake hard past the start/finish line, and enter the road course. The seven-time Winston Cup Champion and his hot foot son, becoming know simply as Junior, have drawn more attention to this race than it has had for almost a decade. The dynamic duo was to be paired up with Andy Pilgrim and Kerry Collins. This attracted the attention of the GMP team to produce a 1:12 replica of over 800 individually handcrafted and meticulously detailed parts. The accurately sculpted diecast body, removable body panels, separate diecast frame and “carbon fiber” detailing on this replica reflects the most unique cutting edge technology in diecast replicas.
