Danbury Mint / 1932 Ford Deuce High Boy Hot Rod / DM Discontinued / 1:24th Scale

Black w/ Tan interior

This model represents the countless post-war garage-built hot rods that raced on the dry lake beds of Southern California in the morning then cruised the drive-ins at night. No other car gained favor with hot-rodders quite like the '32 Deuce Highboy, a fenderless, Ford powered by a hopped-up flathead V-8 engine.

This model is really two cars in one! It can be shown as a stunning lake bed racing rod sans windshield, headlights, top accompanied with disk hub caps and special canvas racing shell. The other configuration is that of a legal street rod as shown in the center view of the attached image. Detail is superb from the engine compartment with all attendant wiring and gas lines to dash instrumentation. Turn this model over and take note of all the underbody chrome work.
