The stylish successor to the Model T Runabout, Ford’s first factory-built pickup, the Model A had a modern gearbox, electrical system, and four wheel brakes. The rugged L-head engine had good hill-climbing power even with 750 pounds of payload in the bed, and the closed cab offered advanced levels of comfort. The windows cranked up, the windshield opened for ventilation in the summer, and a simple manifold heater supplied welcome warmth in the winter. The Depression era had precious few bright spots, one of them was the stylish and practical Model A pickup. This classic DM replica is sensational in Cigarette Cream and orange.
