While other manufacturers saw 1971 as the end of the musclecar era, Plymouth had other ideas. In just its fourth year, the Road Runner saw its performance bent engines fall victim to tightening government regulations on emissions and fuel economy. But the 426 Hemi stayed fast at 425 bhp!

This 1:24 diecast tribute to the last Hemi Roadrunner is available for a limited time as Franklin Mint only produced 500 units. Finished beautifully in Tor-Red, it features the famous 426 Hemi with a functioning “Air Grabber” hood scoop, operating steering and working suspension. Remember the pistol grip wood grain shifter? It’s one of the features in the precision detailed black interior along with the woodgrained dash and correct pattern seats and door panels.
