Highway 61/1964 Dodge Polara 330 2dr Sedan/ 426 Wedge/1:18th scale

Turquoise Poly

"The New Lean Breed." Casting away styling of the late '50's and the beginning of the new decade, Dodge made dramatic styling changes to their "S-Series" cars from 1962 on. Shortened rear decks and lengthened hoods, fins from the '50's were gone. A new "dog bone" grille was added that opened on each end to circular cowls that housed the low-beams. Although the lowest priced of standard sedans from Dodge, they benefited greatly from these engineering and styling updates.

But the real story of these cars were found at places like Milan Dragway in Michigan, Atco Dragway in Jersey and countless other drag strips coast to coast. As much as I hate to admit it, these cars dominated everybody. Powered by the proven "Max Wedge" 426 with 365 HP or the new 426 "Hemi" conservatively rated at over 500 HP!

Highway 61 Collectibles leads the way in precision die-cast metal with these exciting, new 1964 Dodge 330s, dragstrip demons from the early '60's. Precision diecast features include opening hood ,doors, trunk,  fully-detailed engine and interior, and positional front wheels. This turquoise version features the "Max Wedge" 426 ( not the Hemi) with factory headers and cut-outs, fawn-beige bench seat interior with 4-speed.
