Highway 61 factory Prototype Samples for PhillyMint production run of 354 BLACK 150 W/ WHITE INTERIOR

There are no markings to identify this model as a sample, unlike FM & DM, except when I stored the box I placed a label on it reading "PROTO"

Both models have factory stickers on the box or undercarriage with their part #s

I had to make a few tweaks with the factory in China before going into production:

#1 They factory forgot to place the "DODGE" photo etched letters on the front hood

#2 They placed my PhillyMint logo on the chrome front license plate without a black background. ( SEE PHOTOS ABOVE)

All production PhillyMint 1970 Challengers front plate have a black background.

#3 The chrome grill supports over the headlights under the hood were painted black on the production models.

The black paint has held up well sitting in my display case for 15 years. Very minor paint imperfections on the hood and trunk lid, typical of prototype samples/ artist proofs
