From S/S to X/SS (Experimental S/S) to Pro/Stock, Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins '68 Camaro actually competed in 5 different classed throughtout its racing life. BUt, this car is best remembered as the winner of the first ever Pro Stock event....the NHRA 1970 Winternationals. Bill also won in the next two consecutive weekends at the OCIR Pro/Stock Championship and at the Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida. Two months later he won again at DMIS in Dallas, Texas. This is the car that started "Grumpy's" long and famed career in ProStock.
