Mike Fons is a two time World Champion. Modified Eliminator in 1969 and Pro Stock in 1971, racing member of the "detroit Rat Pack" he naturally used a Dick Arons built engine for Pro Stock and match racing. Although he didn't win another championship, he was very competitive in both categories. Mike was inducted in the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2006.
