Wall Booth began his racing career in the mid 60's. He competed in carious Super Stock classes with both Chrysler and GM cars. When the AHRA created X/SS (Experimental Super/Stock) "head-up" racing in the late 60's. Wally jumped at the chance to compete Wally's series of "rat Pack" Camaro's (this being the first were very quick and much respected in the match racing and National events.
